Garfield Minus Garfield Again

Not too long ago I made a post about some Garfield comics with Garfield edited out of them. Apparently the creator of the Garfield comic strip — Jim Davis — likes Garfield Minus Garfield.
“Some of the strips were slappers: ‘Oh, I could have left that out.’ It would have been funnier,” Davis says.
Maybe I’m just a bit cynical, but I’m actually surprised it didn’t turn into another stupid lawsuit-o-rama circus. How sad is that, when decency becomes surprising behavior?

The folks at Blizzard Entertainment put out crazy news items relating to their famous MMORPG World of Warcraft every April Fools day. This year, however, they’ve outdone themselves! Check out these new joke articles:

Motivational Posters

A site called Despair, .Inc has “demotivational” posters which are a parody of those old motivational posters which show some tranquil scene with a single, positive-sounding word beneath it in large, colorful text, beneath which is a motivational phrase in smaller text.
In keeping with these parodies, lost of people have made their own humorous and twisted versions of these motivational posters. Here’s a Star Trek-related one I found recently (click to make the image larger):
Despair, Inc. even has a page where you can custom build one of these things. This should be lots of fun…
