Check out some neat, hyper-technological Victorian-era custom Star Wars action figures at Sillof’s Workshop. Very nice!

I like the little tuft of steam coming out of the smokestack on the R2 unit.
This guy has made a lot of other custom stuff, too. The Gaslight Justice League features DC comic superheroes in a late 19th century style. And the Star Wars: 1942 Biker Scout is great!

I’ve got almost all of my carded Star Wars figures on display now.

I just finished up preparing a part of a wall in my bedroom to display my carded Star Wars figures. I put hooks into the wall near the ceiling and hung those plastic product-strips with the hooks on them that you see in stores (I swiped a bunch from Walmart — new product comes pre-packaged on them, so I figured I’d grab some instead of having it take up space in a landfill).

I still need some more plastic strips, though. I have about a dozen more carded figures to put up there.
BTW, that’s a mini-Ark-of-the-Covenant sitting atop my LCD monitor. I got that along with an Indiana Jones figure not too long ago.

LOL! Regarding yesterday’s post about having to buy two-packs in order to get certain Star Wars action figures, I went to the same chain of stores after work and saw that those items were 50% off now. Fortunately I had saved my receipt and was able to get half the money back that I originally paid for the Order 66 2-packs. Sweet!

What the fudge?! Here I am, collecting clone trooper and astromech droids from the various Star Wars 3¾” action figure lines and Hasbro magically decides to screw me on both! First came the Order 66 series which consist of two-packs containing one clone trooper and one other schmuck. Now comes the Droid Factory series which features two-packs consisting of [mostly] one astromech droid and some other guy.
Not only that, but the Droid Factory packs each come with one piece of the assassin droid C-3PX, which all but forces me to buy the complete sets instead of the individual droids, since it’s unlikely anyone is going to put up the C-3PX parts up on eBay for a reasonable price.

I think I’m going to create a page detailing my growing army of clonetroopers and stormtroopers.

I am so tempted to buy an R2-D2 Wireless Webcam…
- Access R2-D2 Webcam from anywhere in the world using Skype software.
- Full-function: Forward, reverse, turn 360 degrees. Lens has a 62-degree vertical adjustment.
- Record and playback digital movies (video only) and snapshots
- 2.0 zoom lens with 628×582 pixel resolution.
- Lightsaber-style IP phone with stand. Has original movie sound effects and controls movement of R2-D2.
- Lightsaber VoIP/USB Phone allows you to make calls using Skype software.
- Control the R2-D2 webcam from anywhere in the world!
- 14-day battery life in standby mode
Someone give me permission to drop $400 for this thing. I could so use this to spy on my rabbits when I’m away from home.

I just set up my first eBay listing in a decade. I have a bunch of extra UPCs from Star Wars figures, along with a redemption certificate for a special mail-away figure of Captain Rex:

Hopefully someone will find this useful as I’ve already sent off for two of these figures myself.
